NURSES at University Hospitals Dorset will not take part in December strikes but may partake at a later date.
The Royal College of Nursing has confirmed the areas and organisations where its members will take industrial action on 15 and 20 December.
University Hospitals Dorset is not included in this planned industrial action. Future dates may be announced by the RCN as their mandate to organise industrial action runs until early May 2023.
A spokesperson from The Royal College of Nursing said: “We will continue to update you on our plans to ensure there is minimal disruption to patient care and that emergency services continue to operate as normal should any industrial action take place. Thank you to all those involved.”
Up to 100,000 nursing staff in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are preparing to take part in their biggest ever strike in a long-running dispute over pay.
