“It is fair to say there is more flexible working choice than a few years ago and we have just stepped in and entered the market running.

“Our main purpose is to bring together like minded individuals and nurture business relationships, we’re already achieving that.”

The hybrid flexible space offers pay as you go offices ranging from single private use up to 2000 sq ft, along with 5000 sq ft of coworking and hot desking space.

The site includes a ‘SkyLounge’ with a roof terrace that overlooks Bournemouth Airport for ‘networking, chilling and creative thinking’.

Karl added: “SmartBase has been developed over the last three years and we are now so excited to open the facility and welcome like minded businesses, consultants, professionals and entrepreneurs. The interest has been really strong already with 95 per cent of office space taken.

“We believe businesses will find the networking and community approach at SmartBase beneficial and we will be working hard to cultivate creativity and a community approach to shared problems through events and networking.

“We are particularly looking to target product companies and brands who will be able to come together and share experiences, plus all the services on site they need to grow their brand without the onerous commitment of long leases.”
