CHRISTMAS is set to become even more merry and bright at Kingston Lacy this year.
Two new light installations will feature as part of the festival trail which runs from December 2 until Christmas Eve.
Laser Garden by Mandylights and Crystal Garden by Output Arts are the latest installations to be revealed for the trail.
Laser Garden uses up to 100 custom-made laser effects to immerse crowds in thousands of slowly rotating coloured laser beams.
Meanwhile, Crystal Garden is made up of clusters of giant glowing shards that illuminate the winter night.
Matthew Findlay, head of UK trails for Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, said: “We are hugely excited by the plans for this year’s trail, with artists creating beautiful, new installations which will provide even more ‘wow’ factor for 2022.”
Other installations include Heart Walk, 12 Days of Christmas and Meadow of Light, which are all set to a choreographed soundtrack.
Plus, visitors can also get a glimpse of the friendly Father Christmas along the way.
Independent street food vendors will be on hand to provide tasty treats including a marshmallow stall.
Visitors are advised to book ahead to secure their choice of date and time.
The trail is open from 4.30pm and closes at 10pm with last entry at 8pm.
Tickets are priced £19.50 for adults, £14 for children and £65 for a family ticket comprising two adults and two children.
Entry is free for carers and children aged two and under.
Parking costs £8 per car and is free for National Trust members when booked in advance.
