Young actor Tom Bradley stars as Jesus in the latest production of the hit musical Godspell which opens for a five-night run at the Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth tonight.

Tom will be best known to TV viewers as one of the finalists in Grease Is The Word but has been making his mark as a promising newcomer on the theatre scene for several years now, When original star Stephen Gately pulled out of the production, Godspell director Paul Kerryson didn't hesitate to call on Bradley to take over.

He had worked with the young actor since casting him as a 12-year-old as the Artful Dodger in Oliver!

Tom went on to win a scholarship to The Sylvia Young Theatre School, and in graduating played the Scarecrow in Kerryson's 2006 production of The Wizard of Oz at Leicester Haymarket.

Godspell plays the Pavilion until Saturday, March 8.
