Dorset Police received a report of a burglary in progress at a property in Horton on the evening of Thursday, August 18.
It was reported that three male teenage suspects, wearing black hooded tops, were seen leaving the area in a red hatchback, while a further suspect made off on foot.
Officers attended and a search of the area was carried out, but the offenders were not located.
Police have shared images of two high value bicycles that were reportedly stolen in the burglary.
One was a burgundy-coloured Cervelo Aspero bicycle with a distinctive gold chain and a limited edition Team Edition black Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi Mod with purple and pink detail were stolen.
