A FUNDRAISING page has been launched to help a Bournemouth man with terminal cancer fulfill his bucket list.

More than £19,000 has been donated to the ‘Culling Cancer’ Go Fund Me launched in support of 23-year-old Benjamin Cull.

The page was started by Ben’s girlfriend, Daisy Morrison, to help the couple to embark on dream holidays, fun adventures and Ben’s ‘bucket list’ in light of his tragic diagnosis.

Daisy wrote on the page: “He truly deserves it more than anyone to enjoy every minute of life and do all the things we’ve spoke about doing together.”

Ben’s journey began at the age of 17 when he was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer in his right knee.

He underwent a long course of Chemotherapy, and a full knee replacement, before being told he had beaten cancer.

The next few years were enjoyable for Ben; he felt fit, kept a gym routine, and enjoyed work as a personal trainer, but a routine check up appointment before his 21st birthday was about to turn his world upside down.

The check-up revealed the crushing news that the cancer had returned. It was now across both lungs and terminal.

But despite the news, and countless cycles of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Daisy has said her boyfriend continues to be “the most positive person you could ever meet”.

Ben has also been behind thousands of pounds raised for cancer charities, and so Daisy feels it is his turn to be rewarded.

She said: “Ben was feeling a bit down about losing his hair again with another round of chemo, so I was thinking ‘why don’t I just set up the page?’

“He’s done a lot of work for Teenage Cancer trust, and he’s been all about doing everything for everyone else.

"Now I think that its his turn to get something from it, and it’s nice for him to be able to do everything he wants to do."

Since its launch, the page has raised thousands, leaving the couple to start planning their trips together. Daisy said: “It’s gone crazy with all the messages and all the offers.

“We never expected it to go like this, and we appreciate it so much.

“We’re in the process of planning New York for over the Christmas period.”
