Emergency services in Russel Road, Kinson
FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a fire in a ground floor flat in a residential area of Bournemouth.
Police officers have closed of Russel Road in Kinson as fire crews deal work to extinguish the blaze.
Fire engines from Redhill Park, Ferndown, Poole and Westbourne have been sent to the scene along with a fire officer.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they received reports of a fire in the flat on the ground floor shortly before 6pmn on Monday, August 15.
Crews in breathing apparatus are inside the address working to put the fire out and the incident is currently ongoing.
