POLICE are appealing to the public to help find a man missing from Bournemouth.
Forty-year-old John McCurry was reported as missing after he was last been seen at an address in the Moordown area at around 10am on Wednesday, August 3.
He is described as white, around six feet tall and of slim build with brown hair and stubble.
He is believed to have been wearing a light blue T-shirt, green shorts and green trainers and was carrying a grey rucksack.
Inspector Mark Holmes, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand John has been very upset recently and we are concerned for his welfare.
“We want to ensure he is all right and are carrying out searches to try and find him as soon as possible. I would urge anyone with information regarding John’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.
“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to John if you see this – please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are as we all just want to make sure that you are OK.”
