A 70-YEAR-OLD woman is due to appear in court over an alleged motoring offence in Poole.
Dorset Police received a call at 8pm on Tuesday, August 2, of a woman allegedly leaving a supermarket in the Sandbanks area in an intoxicated state.
It was reported that a motorist nearly caused a crash while leaving the car park.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said a 70-year-old Poole woman has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
She is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 1.
A spokesperson for No Excuses Dorset Police team said: “Thanks to those who called in this, as long as recourses allow we do follow up those who are a danger to our roads.”
