A statement on their Instagram page said: “It is with much sadness that we announce the closure of The Tea House.

“The last year has been an absolute blast and despite every effort, the venture is simply not a viable one.

“Our brilliant team have poured their enthusiasm and passion into The Tea House, and we are immensely proud of their achievements. Whilst this chapter might not have succeeded in a way that we would have liked, we truly appreciate all the love and support we’ve been shown.

“We’ve been home to Tinder dates, baby showers, birthday parties, cocktail masterclasses, and an amazing group of loyal customers.

“We thank each and every person who has walked through our door. For now, this is farewell, and we hope to see you on the other side of the bar at one of the many amazing venues in the town centre.”
