A CIVIL and structural engineering firm involved with a host of big developments has a new headquarters.

Calcinotto – whose current projects include AFC Bournemouth’s new training facility and the Winter Gardens development in Bournemouth – chose Fleets Corner Business Park in its Poole for its new base.

The move, coinciding with the firm’s 20th anniversary, saw Calcinotto signing for 4,000sqft of newly refurbished office space at Waterloo House, a unit 2.5 times larger than its previous office in Commercial Road, Poole.

Calcinotto’s office will include a large open plan kitchen, breakout spaces and meeting rooms.

Calcinotto’s directors, Julian Calcinotto, Matthew Singleton and Alex Wait, said: “Following our continued growth and success over the last few years, we have been eager to find the ideal office to enable the next step in our company’s expansion.

“With a fairly long list of non-negotiables, we wanted an office close to the major regional routes where we could proudly welcome our clients, enjoy an abundance of on-site amenities, and benefit from extensive car parking.

“Our brand-new office at Waterloo House fitted our brief perfectly, and we even have extra space for a couple of all-important pool tables.”

Stephen Ellis, senior investment manager at the park’s owner, Federated Hermes, said: “We are committed to upgrading Fleets Corner to ensure that every element, whether an office, warehouse or retail showroom, is suitable for the successful running of the next generation of businesses.

"This commitment to the longevity of the business park is reflected in Calcinotto’s selection of Fleets Corner, and we are proud to welcome another established local business to our community.”

Cacinotto joins the UK’s largest alternative provider of wholesale fibre infrastructure, CityFibre, in Waterloo House.

Calcinotto’s engineers and technician provides consultancy to the ocnsturction and development industries.

Its other projects have included the Next store at Hedge End; the Berry Court car park and residential building in central Bournemouth; and the Chewton Glen Hotel’s luxury treehouses.

Galena Real Estate, JLL, Goadsby and CBRE acted for Federated Hermes on the Waterloo House deal.
