FIREWORKS will light up the skies over Bournemouth once again when a summer spectacular returns this week.
Bournemouth’s popular summer display is back with a bang at 10pm on Friday, August 5.
Friday’s event will mark the start of four weeks of free firework displays.
The weekly firework displays have been a mainstay in the town’s summer calendar and attract thousands of residents and visitors alike.
This year’s events will take place on August 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Spectators will be able to get a glimpse of the displays anywhere across the seafront in the town.
Elsewhere in the conurbation, a firework display is taking place every Thursday at Poole Quay.
The Summer Fireworks on the Quay spectacle started on July 21 and is taking place every Thursday up to and including August 25.
The free quayside event will also feature live music, entertainment and family fun, with displays beginning at 10pm.
