POLICE are "getting concerned” as a 50-year-old woman in Poole has gone missing since Tuesday.

Officers are appealing to the public to help find Eileen Sandall, who was last seen in Poole town centre at around 7.45pm on Tuesday, 26 July.

She is described as white, five feet two inches tall, of large build and with brown hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a white top, a blue and white skirt, a black jacket and brown boots. She also has a backpack with her.

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police, said: “We are getting concerned for Eileen’s welfare as she has now been missing for a few days without making any contact. Therefore, we need to find her to ensure she is safe and well.

“I am hoping that somebody may have seen her either on that Tuesday evening or since then and can help us find out where she might be.

“It is possible that she got on a train in Poole, but we have not yet been able to confirm this.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Eileen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220121121.
