EMERGENCY services were called to a fire in an out of use residential property in Poole.
Fire crews and police attended Bournemouth Road on Thursday morning to a blaze in the three-storey property.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to Bournemouth Road, Poole at 10.36am this morning to a fire involving an out of use residential property.
“Two crews from Poole and the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne attended the incident, finding a fire located on the ground floor of the three storey building.
“Six breathing apparatus wearers used hose reel jets and a covering jet to extinguish the fire – our stop came at 12.13pm.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson added: “We received a report from the fire service at 10.53am requesting assistance with traffic control as it dealt with a property fire in Bournemouth Road, Poole.
“Officers have attended to assist and are also liaising with the fire service to establish the cause of the fire.”
