A Dorset coastal route has been declared the finest road trip in the United Kingdom.
Goodyear, a tyre manufacturing company, collated data from TripAdivsor reviews and social media to compile a list of the UK’s ten most beautiful road trips.

Topping the list, and being crowned ‘the most Instagram-worthy road trip in the UK’, is the Jurassic Coast road drive, including the B3157 from Weymouth to Bridport.
Along the stretch of coastline and historical sites there’s the likes of Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and, of course, one or two sandy beaches.
Goodyear’s motoring experts issued some advice to any would-be roadtrippers to ensure they get the most out of their journey: “No matter the distance, it’s vital to check your car is in top condition before you set off, starting with the tyres.
“Check your optimum tyre pressure in your vehicle handbook, on your filler cap or inside the door sill, and use a pressure gauge to ensure your tyres are properly inflated. ”
