A LARGE cannabis factory was unearthed by police following a raid on a Bournemouth property.
Officers carried out a warrant at an address in Winton and found scores of cannabis plants with equipment in place to support their growth.
Multiple marked police cars were present during the operation, which was carried out by the neighbourhood policing team on Friday, July 23.
In a post on social media on Friday, a Bournemouth Police spokesperson said: "Today, Bournemouth North NPT have carried out a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in Winton following on from intelligence by local residents.
"A large cannabis factory has been located. One male is currently assisting police with enquiries."
