A RALLYING call is being made for people in Weymouth and further afield who enjoy bowls to begin their love of the game at Moonfleet 2000 Indoor Bowls Club.
Bowls, or lawn bowls, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a 'jack' or 'kitty'.
Games are played on a bowling green at the Weymouth club, based at the Marsh, in Knightsdale Road, which may be flat or convex or uneven - the latter being for crown green bowls.
A spokesperson from the club, said: "Give indoor bowls a try.
"It's friendly, it's fun and it will help keep you fit."
