TESCO in Branksome closed half of its store on Sunday due to an ongoing issue.

Due to a technical issue with the lighting, the business blocked off half the store. Only four of the supermarket's aisles were open.

Fresh produce, the fruit and vegetable section, and the health and beauty section are the aisles that stayed open.

The store warned anyone that suffers from a condition which is triggered by flashing lights to not enter the store.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our Poole Branksome Superstore is open for customers with fresh food available.

"However, some aisles are closed due to an electrical fault and customers will need to pay using the self-service checkouts.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and are working to get things fully open as quickly as possible."

The spokesperson later confirmed the issue was fixed and the store will be open fully on Monday morning.
