THERE will be an opportunity to heighten the protection of your bicycle at an event offering security marking for free.
Security marking is a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves as bikes are registered and can be traced back to the owner.
The Westham team from Weymouth and Portland Police along with Weymouth Police Cadets will be offering the service this coming weekend.
They will be at The Marsh at the Skate Park, Knightsdale Road on Saturday July 2 from 12 till 2pm.
The Neighbourhood Team will also be in attendance at The Chickerell Steam and Vintage Show on Saturday July 2 and Sunday July 3.
A spokesperson said: “Please come along to say hello!”
