A DORSET farm has been described as ‘like stepping into the pages of a good ol’ fashioned Enid Blyton novel’ after a complete refurbishment.
Blackmarsh Farm, on the outskirts Sherborne, have revealed their expansion, which is the perfect place to eat, shop and play.
The 500-acre working farm supplies milk to major supermarkets and is home to a ‘handsome’ herd of Friesian cows. There’s plenty for the little ones too; climbing frames, trampolines, pedal go-karts and toys.
During the summer months, the Blackmarsh Farm ‘Maize Maze’ will be available to conquer. The giant maze is created for all ages and it also emerges as a newly designed course each year.
A spokesperson said: “Whatever your age, one thing rings true once you step foot onto Blackmarsh Farm, you can’t help but feel a calling to grow wild.”
