FANCY seeing Europe’s largest natural harbour from the comfort of a pleasure boat before watching a spectacular firework display all while raising funds for charity?
Dorset disability charity Diverse Abilities is hosting a fireworks cruise on August 25 following the success of the same event held last year.
Setting sail at 7.30pm, visitors will be taken to see the panoramic views of Studland Bay, Sandbanks Peninsula, and Poole Harbour’s islands including Brownsea before returning to Poole Quay to enjoy the spectacular firework finale at 10pm.
You’ll be greeted aboard the Purbeck Princess with a glass of prosecco and can purchase drinks from the on-board bar. An epic hamper is also up for grabs in a raffle.
Lucy Rowley, events fundraising officer at Diverse Abilities, said: “It’s great to be able to run the Poole Harbour fireworks cruise again this August, after the success of last year’s event. We are looking forward to welcoming our supporters on board for a relaxing evening cruise and firework finale, all in aid of Diverse Abilities.”
Tickets for the three-hour experience are available at diverseabilities.org.uk/fireworks for £25 per adult and £15 per child, with an option to add supper.
