POOLE Coastguard rescued two casualties from a diving vessel in Swanage Bay.
Poole Coastguard Rescue Team were requested to set up a helicopter landing site in Whitecliff for the two casualties from a diving vessel in the Swanage Bay area.
The casualties were then transferred into the care of the ambulance crew for assessment.
A spokesperson from Poole Coastguard Rescue Team said: “Once on scene the team cleared and prepared the site, awaiting the arrival of the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter R175.
“A South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ambulance and Dive Doctor arrived on scene shortly before R175 landed.
“The casualties were then transferred into the care of the ambulance crew and Dive Doctor for assessment.
“The site was then made ready for R175's departure. After all assets had left the scene, the team stood down with thanks from R175 Aircrew and JRRC, and returned to the station.
“Yet again we would like to thank the individuals from the Community Payback Scheme that gave their time and assistance today.”
