A spokesperson for New Forest Heart Cops said: “Over the last two weeks we’ve had several reports that the passenger of car had been using foul and abusive language and hand gestures towards school children waiting at a bus stop on Shrubbs Hill in Lyndhurst.
“This morning we stopped that car and have issued the passenger with a community resolution for the public order offence and the driver has been given a section 59 warning for allowing his car to be used to cause harassment alarm and distress to members of the public.
“That means if the car is involved in this type of incident again it will be seized.”
