FIREFIGHTERS have responded to an embankment fire in Harmans Cross which had spread to nearby gardens.
Crews from Swanage Fire Station were called to the incident, and were quickly joined by a second appliance from Poole station.
The firefighters were able to get the fire under control.
In a Facebook post, Swanage Fire Station said: “Crews worked hard to get the fire under control quickly and are now back home hoping for no more fires on such a hot day."
