ON the 17th June I was rushed to Poole Hospital at 9am with epistaxis (extreme nose bleed).

The A&E department reacted immediately in an endeavour to control the flow of blood.

The department was desperately busy, but whilst I was there some eight hours, constant attention and treatment were given.

All the staff were so kind and considerate – they boosted my confidence.

It was decided I must remain overnight and I was transferred to ward C4 where the team of nurses and doctors were superb.

All the staff I came across were cheerful and attentive, despite working under tremendous pressure.

Well done Poole Hospital
