AROUND 25 litres of diesel had to be cleared after a vehicle spill at a ferry terminal car park in Poole.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.03pm on Tuesday, June 21, to reports that a large quantity of diesel was spilling into the cark park at Ferry Way in Sandbanks.

One crew from Westbourne attended to find a vehicle leaking diesel, of which approximately 25 litres had spilled.

Crews were able to stem the flow using an environment agency pack and sand. Local authorities also attended to clear up the spill.
