A MAN was allegedly seen making threats with a knife in an east Dorset industrial estate.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after receiving reports of a man with knife in the Ferndown Industrial Estate.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, June 8, it was reported that a man was seen making threats with a knife in the Cobham Road area of Ferndown Industrial estate.
A 53-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police Constable Neil Gauden, of Dorset police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident and I am now appealing for anyone who saw what happened to please contact us.
“At this time of day, I am aware there were other people on the industrial estate who may have witnessed this incident and not spoken to us yet.
“I would urge anyone with information that might assist this investigation to get in touch.”
