TWO teenagers have been arrested after a 14-year-old girl sustained facial injuries in an alleged assault.
Officers investigating the incident have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The incident, in which a 14-year-old girl from Poole sustained serious facial injuries, happened at approximately 7pm on Friday, June 17 in Wimborne Road near to Sprinkles.
Subsequently, a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, both from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail pending further enquires.
Detective Constable Jordan Curtis, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am sure that a number of people would have been in the area at the time and am appealing for any witnesses to what exactly happened to please come forward.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage as this might assist my investigation.”
