AN ELDERLY man described as “vulnerable” was reportedly exploited by others conducting drug activity in his Boscombe flat.
On Wednesday, June 15, Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) officers conducted a safe and well check on an elderly gentleman following concerns around him being exploited and drug activity occurring at his home.
Three people were located by police and detained under the Misuse of Drugs Act. A quantity of Class A drugs were seized along with a number of “nasty looking weapons” including knives.
One male has been charged to court.
A Boscombe NPT spokesperson said: “We are working with our partner agencies to ensure ongoing safeguarding for the resident and we will continue to check on his welfare.
“Please continue to report suspicious activity to us.”
