Eurovision star Sam Ryder is bringing his upcoming UK tour to the 02 Academy in Boscombe next year.

The Space Man singer will be performing at the venue as part of his 11-date tour.

Sam, who first found fame on TikTok, will be calling at Boscombe on Tuesday, April 4.

Priority tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, June 15, and general sale at 9am on Friday, June 17.

Posting on social media, 02 Academy Bournemouth said: “TikTok sensation Sam Ryder and the “Space Man” responsible for giving the UK its best result at Eurovision since 1998, heads out on a huge UK tour! Do not miss this!”

Sam, from Essex, uploaded cover songs to TikTok during lockdown and caught the attention of global stars including Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys.

He signed to the Parlophone record label, part of Warner Music Group, and released his debut EP The Sun’s Gonna Rise in 2021.

Last month Sam represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in Turin, achieving second place to Ukraine.

He is only the third artist in the past 40 years to reach either number one or two in the singles charts with a UK Eurovision song.

Earlier this month he performed Space Man as the Platinum Party at the Palace as part of the Queen’s jubilee celebrations.
