A MAN has been charged after £1,500 of alcohol was reportedly stolen in a string of thefts at a Bournemouth supermarket.
Officers have been investigating six reports of alcohol being stolen from Waitrose in Wimborne Road in Winton between Friday, April 22 and Friday, June 3.
In total it was reported that an estimated £1,500 worth of alcohol was stolen.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with six offences of theft and is due to appear in court later this month.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following two CCTV appeals, a 21-year-old local man has been arrested and charged with six offences of theft from a shop.
“He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 24 June 2022.”
