A HORSE called Jim is among the animals looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

Animal rescue centre Margaret Green, which has sites at Lincoln Farm and Church Knowle, is seeking to rehome a number of pets currently under its care.

Can you help? All the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: RustyRusty

Rusty is a one-year-old Dachshund. He is looking for a very experienced, adult-only home without children or visiting children. He is looking for a family who will have time to dedicate to his training, as he can be quite unsure and worried in certain situations. Whilst he enjoys meeting other dogs and playing off-lead in secure areas, he is looking to be the only dog in the household, but he could live with a confident cat.

Bournemouth Echo: MableMable

Mable is a three-year-old Greyhound. She is a very sweet girl who enjoys going for walks and having off-lead time in the enclosed paddocks here with her Sighthound friends. As she is an ex-racer, she would not be able to live with cats or small furries. However, she could live with other Sighthounds, providing they meet and get along, and possibly teenage children.

Bournemouth Echo: NoahNoah

Noah is a handsome, two-year-old Lurcher. Since coming to the centre, he has slowly grown in confidence and he would love to find a family that can carry on with this. He loves running around and playing off-lead with his trusted friends, but he also enjoys a cuddle with the staff. He would be happiest living in an adult-only home as the only dog, in a rural area and without small furries.

Bournemouth Echo:

Sheldon is a handsome chap who is eight-years-old. He is quite independent, so he would like his own space to explore. He is looking for an adult-only home, where he will be the only pet in the household.

Bournemouth Echo: JazzJazz

Jazz is 13 years old and she is quite a talkative lady who enjoys being made a fuss of. She is looking for an adult-only home with no other pets, where she can relax and enjoy her new forever home.

Bournemouth Echo: JimJim

Jim is a 15hh crossbreed who is 25 years old, although he doesn’t behave like it! He is a lovely boy who enjoys attention and he would really thrive in a home environment with his own person. At this stage, he is being rehomed as a non-ridden companion.
