A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with a crash in Purbeck - which lead to a driver being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
At 6.11pm on Thursday, December 23, Dorset Police received a report of a crash on the A352 near East Knighton involving a white Renault Trafic van and a blue Ford Ranger.
The driver of the Ford, a man aged in his 50s, was taken by air ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment to serious injuries.
Following an investigation by the traffic unit, a 34-year-old man from Bournemouth has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 14 for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
