Two encampments were set up in Christchurch and Poole over the weekend, with BCP Council and Dorset Police aware of both.

And BCP Council legal processes were ongoing with the encampment currently situated in the Sandbanks car park.
A spokesperson said: “The encampment near Somerford roundabout in Christchurch is on private land so is a police and landowner issue.
“Meanwhile at Sandbanks Car Park, where there are two living units, formal action is being taken.
“As well as liaising with Dorset Police, BCP Council is carrying out statutory welfare, educational and risk assessments in order to determine the level of support to be given to the group.
“As yet there is no confirmed date for eviction, but legal processes are ongoing.”
