A MAN has come forward after police released images of someone they’d like to speak to following a reported rape in a Bournemouth hotel.
The alleged incident occurred at around 3am on Saturday, May 21 at the Durley Dean Hotel in West Cliff Road after the victim, who is aged in her late teens, had been out for the evening with a friend.
The victim met a man in the town and they returned to the hotel, when the offence is reported to have occurred.
On Monday, May 30, detectives issued a CCTV image of a man they wished to speak to in connection with the incident.
Subsequently, an 18-year-old man from Bournemouth has contacted Dorset Police and is assisting with the investigation.
We would like to thank those members of public who also contacted the Force.
