Police and the council will be taking "appropriate further action" over an unauthorised encampment at Slades Farm in Bournemouth.
It comes after residents said members of the group moved rocks to gain access to the site on Friday afternoon.
One resident said: "They have moved rocks to get in. There are around 13/14 vehicles and they came in through the community centre car park and are now based at the far end towards the allotments.
"It's not fair or acceptable on the local community."

Other residents reported seeing vehicles driving over the recreation ground.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Dorset Police received a report at 3.24pm on Friday 20 May relating to an unauthorised encampment at Ensbury Park in Bournemouth. Officers attended the site and found caravans already in situ.
We are liaising with the council to monitor the situation and will be taking appropriate further action as required.
We are aware that there are a number of events scheduled this weekend at the location and the intention is for those to take place.
