AN unauthorised encampment of around 10 caravans and vehicles have moved onto Slades Farm in Bournemouth.
BCP Council said on Friday afternoon it is aware of the encampment and staff are onsite.
A BCP Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of an Unauthorised Encampment consisting of approximately 10 living Units and associated vehicles at Slades Farm.
“Our staff are on site and will carry out the statutory welfare and educational needs assessment, along with any necessary risk assessments in order to determine the level of support to be given to the group.
“We will be visiting, liaising with and monitoring the site going forward and will update as necessary through the BCP Council website.”
It comes after a group of travellers were on Turlin Moor earlier this week.
Other encampments are also still in place in Stony Lane, Christchurch, along with Serpentine Road and Christopher Crescent in Poole.
