THE DRIVER of a blacked-out Mercedes G-Wagen was pulled over by police on Thursday.

After officers from Dorset Traffic Police couldn’t see the driver through the window, even with sunlight shining on him, the luxury SUV was pulled over due to the front window tint being too dark.

Officers said testing proved these windows only allowed 17.5 per cent of natural light into the vehicle.

The driver was unable to remove the tints and as a result the car was prohibited from use on the road until it was removed and examined again.

The driver of the black G-Wagen received three points and a £100 fine.
