POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a selection of power tools were stolen from a garage in Gillingham.
The burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between Sunday, May 1 and Sunday, May 8 at an address off Le Neubourg Way.
The victim reported that he witnessed a man behaving suspiciously on his driveway on the morning of Sunday, May 8. Police would like to identify and speak to this man.
He is described as a white man, around five-feet 10 inches tall and of slight build with short ginger hair.
He was clean shaven and wearing a pair of round glasses and a white hooded top.
The man was seen leaving the address and riding away on a bicycle in the direction of Cemetery Road.
Police Constable Geriant Craig, of Gillingham police, said: "An investigation is underway into this incident and we've been carrying out a number of enquiries to identify who was responsible.
"I'm appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity, or a man matching the description given, around the relevant timeframe to please get in touch."
