CCTV images have been released by police following two thefts from a Bournemouth supermarket.

It was reported that at around 2pm on Friday, April 22, a man entered the Waitrose store in Wimborne Road in Winton and made off without paying for six bottles of alcohol.

The same man then reportedly returned at around 11am on Monday, May 9, and stole a further 12 bottles of alcohol.

The total value of the items stolen is £480.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, from Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these thefts and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect that I am now issuing to the public in the hope that someone will recognise him.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
