Trains were disrupted on Tuesday night after an incident of trespassing on the railway between Bournemouth and Pokesdown.

Train services running through these stations were disrupted, with passengers warned of issues through to the end of the day.

A South Western Railway spokesperson said: "We were informed of a trespasser on the railway between Bournemouth and Pokesdown.

"This has now been resolved and all lines have now reopened. Trains may still be delayed, cancelled and revised whilst we return our service to normal.

"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
