DEAR readers, it’s Emily and William here this week talking about meeting famous people, and how nervous we’d be to talk to someone famous.

We decided to imagine bumping into someone famous and how our meeting with them would go…….and for fun we chose Spiderman!

We’d bump into him in the fruit and vegetable aisle of our local supermarket. Our friend who works there would message to say Spiderman was in the store.

When we arrived I, William would ask if he needed help with his shopping! We’d tell him that we were fans and ask if he’d like to visit our local pub for a drink with us. Of course he’d say yes!

He’d take us to the Brewhouse in his spider's web, holding us as he jumped from building to building until we got there. People would be watching and wondering what was going on, but luckily he would use some special powers to hypnotise them so that they didn’t follow us and we could have a proper chat with him when we arrived at the pub.

He’d tell us about his journey becoming Spiderman, his alter ego Peter Parker and how it felt to be bitten by a spider. We’d also find out why he was grocery shopping in a Dorchester supermarket!

We’d ask if he’s made any other superhero movies, what he does off screen, if he has a family and hobbies. We’d tell him about our column here and how we enjoy seeing our friends at Friendship Club!

When it was time for him to go, he’d suggest we exchange numbers so if we are ever in trouble we can call him. He’d encourage us to keep watching him on TV, and we’d say ‘sure, we’ll catch you on the web’!
