THE TRAIN line towards Bournemouth is blocked due to a fault on a train in Poole.

South Western Railway has warned that train services running through the station may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 4pm today.

A spokesperson from South Western Railway said: “We have been informed that a train has developed a fault at Poole.

“Unfortunately we are unable to rectify the fault and another train is required to assist in moving the faulty train.

“Until the train has been moved we are unable to run any trains through platform 1 at Poole and the line towards Bournemouth is blocked.

“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
