DRUGS, cash and a “nasty looking” knife were recovered after police searched a property in Boscombe.

An investigation has now been launched and two men are assisting police with their enquiries after officers carried out a search at an address in Walpole Road on Monday afternoon, May 17.

Bournemouth Police said the search was due to “possible links with County Lines and criminal exploitation”.

A spokesperson said: “A quantity of Class A Drugs and Cash seized along with a nasty looking lock knife.

“Working with our colleagues from The Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET) and The Met, an investigation has now commenced.

“Two males are assisting us with our enquiries.”

Police have urged members of the public to continue to report suspicious activity to them.

The spokesperson added: “We will relentlessly pursue those involved in criminality and those who target and exploit vulnerable individuals.

“Please continue to report suspicious activity to us.”
