POLICE are searching for a missing teenager from Sherborne who was last seen leaving her home on Friday night.

Officers from Dorset Police are appealing for the public’s help in relation to Rebekah Saunders.

The 13-year-old was reported missing having last been seen leaving her address in the Dorset town at around 8.30pm on May 13.

Rebekah is described as white, five feet four inches tall and of medium build with very long black hair. She was wearing a school sweatshirt, white polo shirt and black trousers. Rebekah normally wears glasses.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Rebekah’s welfare and are keen to find her as soon as we can, so we can check that she is all right.

“I would urge anyone who has information as to her whereabouts, or who has seen a teenage girl matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct appeal to Rebekah if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to make sure that you are safe.”
