POLICE officers inadvertently stumbled across a cannabis factory in Poole.
The factory was discovered in Viscount Walk in the Bearwood area on the morning of Friday, May 6.
Officers from Bournemouth Police said: “In the address an illegal cannabis factory was located, controlled substances were seized and equipment destroyed.”
A man attended a police station for a voluntary interview to be questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis.
He has been released under investigation.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “The factory was located at an address in Viscount Walk in Poole by local officers while carrying out enquiries in connection with an unrelated matter.
“It was found on the morning of Friday 6 May 2022.”
The spokesperson added: “A 31-year-old man attended a local station for a voluntary interview to be questioned on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.”
