Person hit by train at Pokesdown train station over weekend
A person was hit by a train near Pokesdown station in the early hours of Sunday morning.
South Western Railway have confirmed an incident took place in which a person was hit by a train.
Passengers were held on the train for two hours while emergency services dealt with the incident, one passenger said.

A spokesperson for South Western Railway said passengers were provided with alternative transport home as a result of the incident.
