A CYCLIST was headbutted by a van driver last month following a verbal altercation in Boscombe

The man, aged in his 40s, was cycling up a hill on Knyveton Road, Boscombe when he saw a grey Iveco tipper van reverse toward him.

The driver then got out of the vehicle and a verbal altercation took place before the van driver headbutted the victim and then drove off.

The offender is described as white, around six feet tall with a bald head. He was wearing a grey Addidas hooded top, orange and blue shorts and Nike Air Max trainers.

Police are appealing for anybody with information on the incident to come forward.
