Join the Echo as it takes a nostalgic look back in photos at how Westover Road has changed over the years.

Even in the early years the road was one of the thoroughfares in the town.

As the town began to grow, the roads and mansions were demolished to make way for hotels, garages, an ice rink and cinemas.

Through the years there has been a turn towards retail, pubs, and restaurants.
