Emergency gas works in Christchurch caused long delays on key routes in Christchurch on Thursday.
And the disruption is set to continue today.
Road users were caught in queues all day yesterday due to a lane closure on the Christchurch bypass, Fountain Way and Barrack Road.
The road is the main route through the town.
The lane closure is for work by Southern Gas Networks.
SGN have three sets of gas works in a row A35 westbound in Christchurch. The 23 service is running very late due to the amount of stationary traffic in the area. We can only apologise for this. Please use the website or the app to track the location of your bus in real time. ^JB

It is expected the lane closure could remain in place on Friday, according to a live travel map.
Due to Christchurch Bypass roadworks, our routes 1, 1a, 1b and 4 are operating with significant delays. For the latest times, you can track the buses via our website or our app, YB Move. We are sorry for the delay to the service during this time.
